In this podcast, I give you a preview of the ways to connect and ground into our surroundings with the ways we eat everyday. This seasonal food connections allows our body to calibrate with the seasons to. After all, we are part of the environment.

When we experience life along with the life around us, we find that we are better able to sustain a flow of energy that is continuous and supported by other life around us.

In our modern world, this concept may take a moment to land in your heart. However, in time where we manufacture our experiences through a VR-lens, movies, video games, and virtually, it may leave us feeling a bit off. For example we may begin expecting our in-person experiences to have a desired outcome. We may begin to feel like everyday outings to the post office or the workplace may feel too difficult and inefficient.

These kinds of feelings are the result of orienting too much to the quick response of living virtually in our phones, computers, and devices. This is part of our life now and may be part of our evolution.

However what we eat can be a source of grounding that can help us leverage the experience of eating seasonal wholesome foods to enliven our overall experience of being present in this moment, in this day, in this month, in this season. This kind of simple clarity can provide a landscape of vitality and flexibility to cope with all that life brings our way.
